Enfiga’t seeks to promote the cuisine of the Empordà region and the city of Figueres through the culinary and creative talent of the participating restaurants, which prepare a tapa, dish or menu with figs as the main ingredient.

 

Each edition features complementary activities to promote figs, which are in season from July to October and have historical, gastronomic and cultural relevance and connections to Figueres and the Alt Empordà region.

 

On 13 September 2025, the professional collective ‘La Cuina del Vent’ will offer a ‘showcooking’ event at the Balcón del Mercado, the new food and wine space in Plaça Catalunya.

 

Organised by Comerç Figueres Associació and La Cuina al Vent with the support of the Alt Empordà Association of Hospitality Businesses and in collaboration with Figueres Town Council.
