The heritage route through the Figueres cemetery features 24 audio points, tracing the city’s history through the documentation of 22 mausoleums that are architecturally and sculpturally significant or linked to historical figures and events of the city, dating from the late 19th century to the end of the Civil War.

It is available in 4 languages during the cemetery’s opening hours, accessible via the QR code on the sign located at the old cemetery gate, where the itinerary begins, without the need for downloading or registration.

The same platform also provides written transcripts of the audio recordings for people with hearing impairments.

Each point on the itinerary is geolocated on a map, which is also available through the digital audio guide.

Some of the mausoleums include an image of the original project preserved at the Figueres Municipal Archive.
