The Dalí Theatre-Museum is considered Salvador Dalí’s last great masterpiece, conceived and designed by the artist himself to offer visitors a true experience and immerse them in his captivating and unique world.
Due to its vast surface area (32 hectares) and its long perimeter (3,120 metres), it’s the largest modern fortress (from the 18th century) in Europe. Its sophisticated construction techniques applied to the military engineering of the era and the exceptional views of Figueres and the Empordà will amaze you.
On Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays, Figueres comes alive with its bustling markets. A hub for both locals and tourists, the clothing market on Passeig Nou and the fruit and vegetable market in Plaça del Gra and Plaça Catalunya are perfect spots to explore and get a taste of the city.
