The Toy Museum of Catalonia contains a section devoted to the childhood and adolescence of Salvador Dalí, with photos of the family, his school studies, his first exhibitions, etc. The most outstanding piece is Don Osito Marquina, the Dalí brothers’ favourite toy, named like that due to the creativity of the poet Federico García Lorca.
Casa Mas Roger, a private residence, is the house where Dalí lived during his adolescence. The artist painted his first works here, such as Girl at the Window, and its spaces later inspired famous paintings, such as Gala Nude Looking at the Sea, Which Seems to Be a Portrait of Lincoln.
